Adele makes friends with Mick Jagger Posted on May 10th
Soul singer Adele made friends with Rolling Stones legend Mick Jagger at a showbiz event this week.
Mick sat close to the 20-year-old rising star at his daughter Jade’s Belvedere Jagger Dagger party, which was held at London’s Automat restaurant on Thursday night.
It is claimed that Mick decided to get to know the singer after other guests had mocked her and complained about her table manners.
A source told The Sun: “When people started mocking Adele’s table manners good old Mick leapt to her defence saying he loved her ‘couldn’t care less’ attitude. He said it was refreshing to meet someone like her.
“When Jade then told him Adele was the ‘Chasing Pavements’ singer he knew the song and said they should get together for a gig.”
Adele added: “I couldn’t believe it when I realised I was sitting opposite Mick Jagger. I was really nervous. I wasn’t making any sense when I was talking to him but he was really charming.”
